:D Rabbi is actually only his firstname. His parents may have thought of the nameplay to make it 'sacred'; or more probably, it means something different in Urdu or Punjabi, two of the native languages of this region.

Any hint, anyone?

Well buddies,
Rabbi's real name is Gurpreet Singh Gill......he wanted a more philosophical name 4 making a career in music.

The right path is the path of rigtheousness; the path of humility; the path of truth; the path of selflessness << but none of these paths alone will lead us to salvation..
The essential ingredient is the path to sprituality. This is what binds all the elements together. And if you listen closely ; you will find in the melody of Rabbi's voice hidden somewhere the message in totality.

Catch him at the Guru Manio Granth programme singing divine ragas>>
